Wednesdays 
Beginners Class
6 PM
The solid basics of the physical practice of yoga teaching proper breathing, technique & alignment of postures.
We start from scratch assuming that you have never been in a yoga class.
Breathing & postures in a supine position are introduced first, followed by seated, prone, table top & standing postures.
You will feel well grounded & confident to begin your yoga journey here.
Payment in advance is required to hold your 
spot.

Tuesdays
YIN YOGA/Therapeutic Stretch

8 AM & 6 PM 
(Most levels)

Join us on the shady side of the mountain as we stretch completely out of our routine & the stress that binds us.
This slow moving class is designed to untangle the energy trapped by our habits & imbalances.  This class is moves flawlessly into a deep therapuetic yin stretch using the breath to relax & unwind.
Classes generally have a theme and focus: back, spinal twist, hips, shoulders etc.

(All levels as long as you can get on and off the floor without assitance)
Payment in advance is required to hold your spot. 
 March $75 for 8 AM & $100 for 6 PM (5 Classes) 
Doors open 15 minutes before class starts.



Thursdays  
Hatha Yoga SLOW FLOW

8 AM & 6 PM
Hatha Slow Flow is a combination of gentle but deep yoga postures that link together to form a full body workout.
Every class generally has a focus: knees, hips, shoulders, core, spine etc.

Payment in advance is required to hold your spot.

March $60 for AM & PM classes
Doors open 15 minutes 
before class starts.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS OF YOGA CLASSES

HATHA YOGA FUNDAMENTALS FOR BEGINNERS 
If a Beginners class is not available, Tuesday 8 AM or 6:00 PM is 
recommended.
The solid basics of the physical practice of yoga teaching proper breathing, technique & alignment of postures.
This course last 6 - 8 weeks and should be followed by one of the classes below to continue advancement.

We start from scratch assuming that you have never been in a yoga class.
Breathing & postures in a supine position are introduced first, followed by seated, prone, table top & standing postures.
You will feel well grounded & confident to begin your yoga journey here. 


CORE YOGA
Learn some seriously deep core work based on the principals of pilates.
Take it into the yoga postures to move with flow and grace.
This is a challenging workout that will increase your balance & stability.
I feel this class is essential for growing in your yoga practice.
This is a great class for those of you who overuse your backs!
A great class for those who want to increase, focus, stability & balance.
Physical balance brings mental balance and vice versa.
A challenge for sure!


SLOW HATHA YOGA FLOW
 Traditional Yoga using movement and breath to move through a sequence of postures.
If you are in good physical condition, just jump in whether or not you have ever taken Yoga classes before.
 If you are not sure, please see the description of the above classes to see where you should begin.
I can assist you in making a decision. We all had to start somewhere.


YIN YOGA
Join us on the shady side of the mountain for a quiet peaceful practice.
This class has a focus every week using a few Yin postures for deep therapeutic stretching.
Combined with deep breathing & introspection, you will feel more light & free in your moevemnet.
Expect greater flexiblity & range of motion with regular practice


YIN YOGA FUSION

This class combines Yin & Hatha to form a class that encompasses deep therapeutic stretching with a full body workout. The very best of Yin & Yang postures in the yoga trandition.


YOGA FOR RESTORATION & RELAXATION
WALL YOGA
This well designed class takes YIN YOGA to the Wall.
The idea is to tie "yin-like" postures & movement together using the wall & gravity to assist in holding the postures for long periods of time. All postures are done using the wall for support & balance. Transitions are slow & focused & link together for a smooth flow. This is a special class usually incorporated as a workshop.
Please watch for workshops and jump in. This class comes & goes & is great for most levels.


RESTORATIVE WORKSHOP
THE SHADY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN. This class offers DEEP Therapeutic stretching & holding of simple postures accompanied by ancient breathing techniques designed to restore, renew, refresh and reset your life.
We add guided meditation using visual imagery. 
This class ends with Yoga Nidra for DEEP relaxation.
This is a 90 minutes dose of pure relaxation. Watch the calendar.
